20/03/2013 Estonian Road Administration informs – studded tires are allowed until the end of April
Though the spring starts today and the mandatory usage of winter tires is over, the weather conditions still remain wintry crisp. Studded tires are allowed on Estonian roads until 31st of March, but due to exceptional road and weather conditions the use is extended until 30th of April.
Road Administration has announced that the use of studded tires will not be extended officially, but according to the road and weather conditions the driver can decide whether it is reasonable to change the winter tires to summer tires.
Starting from 1st of May all vehicles must drive with summer tires.
